+\subsection{Description of Method}
+
+An optical spectrometer\footnote{OceanOptics QE65000} was used to obtain transmission measurements of metal films on a glass substrate. The operation of the spectrometer is straightforward; light from the source to be studied is dispersed by a prism, and a detector measures the intensity of light at a range of angles; at each angle the wavelength of light can be determined.
